New Truck Presented as Grand Prize in Tony LamaŽ 3RT Sweepstakes

Tony Lama® brand manager, Mike Fuller, awarded a new Dodge Ram 1500 truck Thursday morning to Mead, Wash., resident Michael Lewis as the grand prize of the Tony Lama® 3R™ Truck Giveaway Sweepstakes.

"I was in a complete state of disbelief when I found out I had won," said Lewis. "I told my wife, Marjie, that I had just won a truck, and she screamed and jumped up and down. I was seriously holding my breath until I got the confirmation call a couple weeks later. Then I was really excited!"

Lewis, a local musician, was presented the keys to his new truck at the Big R store in Mead, Wash., where his winning form was entered. More than 52,000 entries from 587 stores were received by Tony Lama during the sweepstakes, which ran Aug. 1 through Nov. 30, 2008.

"The sweepstakes were held across the nation to promote the launch of our popular new 3R Collection," said Fuller. "The success of our products and our company lies with the strong relationships we have with our retailers. These kinds of promotions are a win-win around the launch of a new product line, and we appreciate the great participation."
